  2. 02 By day

    The same dots sorted into one column per trading day, oldest at the left. The busiest day in the window is 14 August 2026 at 3,744 filings; the quietest is 15 June 2026 at 587.

    Real: the height of each column — that day's filing count divided by 13. Modelled: where a dot sits within its column. Filings have no order inside a day here.

  3. 03 By sector

    The same dots again, redistributed into bands by the filer's BSE sector — the tier-2 level of the four-tier classification, 23 bands including (unclassified). The largest is Capital Goods at 11,540 filings.

    Real: the length of each band, and its rank — every band has the same number of rows, so length is count. Modelled: the position of a dot inside its band.

  4. 04 Material

    Everything the desk treats as routine drops back. 21,260 of 77,241 filings (27.5%) carry a material tag.

    Real: which dots stay lit. Material is a property of the tag, not of the filing — the list is in config/material_tags.yml and the tag comes from BSE's own category / subcategory pair through a hand-written crosswalk. Modelled: nothing new; the positions are stage 03's.
